Opening V2: Fly-through

The same ten things, as real 3D objects under real light: a gold frame that catches reflections, a record with grooves, a bronze sculpture, a book with page edges. Scroll, and the camera travels through them. Some rush past close to your eye, soft with depth of field, then swing back in; far ones come forward. Each turns over into its file and settles on a plane that matches the library exactly, then the real page takes over.

What it tests

Built with three.js r160 inside the page (no network): lighting, soft shadows on the sweep, depth of field, and a seamless hand-off to the real library. The most cinematic of the three, and the heaviest.

Tiers

Decides: Whether the opening should feel like a camera move (film) rather than things moving on a stage.
Good enough: Materials, the library window, the player sheet.
Placeholder: The line, the download link, the tail.
